United We Stand

United We Stand

The United States is currently engaged in the political process  required by a representative republic; it is we the citizens who choose our leaders. I see this as an awesome responsibility and my civic duty as an American. Right now in two major political parties we have two candidates from the Democrats and more than a dozen from the Republicans. From these political ideologies Americans must choose two candidates who stand for what? For greatness, goodness, abundance, love and respect, equal opportunity and a massive middle class population.

I want to see Americans united in purpose: that we are all equally important and valuable, that we all want the highest good for ourselves and our families, and that we all have opportunity to live in peace within the laws of the land that we have established through representatives we place in leadership and power over us.

I am praying that America will make it a point to listen to speeches by the candidates, look at their qualifications and  past accomplishments and research any news reports. We must make an  informed  well thought out choice for the next president. I am looking for a leader who can truly bring us back together working as one people who can respect and love their neighbors, living in harmony to be good, honest citizens, caring about lifting up our nation to be a place of prosperity and opportunity for ALL. Bring jobs back from nations that pollute the entire planet from manufacturing our goods. If our government could not borrow (print) and distribute money to the unemployed and needy we would be seeing bread lines in every city in America or starving citizens everywhere. We can change this with the right leadership.

Here are some facts: Newly released Census data reveals nearly 110 million Americans – more than one-third of the country – are receiving government assistance of some kind. At the end of 2012, according to the stats, 51.5 million were on food stamps. The Cato Institute’s Michael Tanner said that in the eight most generous states, the benefits can be tantamount to a $20 minimum wage – which would exceed the $7.25 minimum wage in most states. There are many negative effects from this situation when such a mass of people have no responsibilities, especially the young and single, yet plenty of money to entertain themselves. We are seeing astounding murder rates, especially in cities with gun free zones in minority communities where unemployment runs high.

I want all my fellow citizens, my brothers and sisters from every race and culture, to prosper and live in peace and safety where law is respected and upheld equally for all. So I am looking for a leader who will not pit us against one another but seek liberty and justice for all in our pursuit of happiness. Honest work for the fit and able instead of handouts. Healthcare at reasonable costs to working Americans. Creating and living by a national budget as we do in our households.

I am praying for astute Americans to join me in seeking out the best candidate to lead our country back to peace and unity; respect for ourselves and one another; respect for the law, honoring all life. The shift back to owning our oneness has begun and will take us to a world of peace, love, joy and prosperity. We want to step back from stoking strife and division. We can choose divine frequencies of peace and love that unite us with law abiding behavior, and harmonious, abundant living. I am looking for a President who can lead the way. These are things all Americans can agree upon because they go beyond political philosophy. If our next president has a  heart for these things for ALL Americans, the road to get there will be secondary. We mustn’t just listen to campaign rhetoric but discern and verify what kind of leader we are counting on to lead us into the light of peace and prosperity for all.

Please begin now to become an informed voter for upcoming elections. Our future generations are counting on us to get our country back on track to once again live as proud Americans united in pride and dignity and respect for one another. It is up to us to choose and then vote for the best candidate we trust….not for a party favorite we know little about. E Pluribus Unum, out of many, ONE.  See you at the voting booth next year.
