Ancient Religions: Accurate Translations?

It may well be one of the oldest manuscripts of the Quran surviving to this day, but there appears to be no good reason to believe that it is an Uthmanic Original.

An Ostrich I Am Not, Redux, Oct. 23, 2015

As a former journalist, I take my duty to be an informed voter and a responsible law abiding citizen very seriously. I intend to share my research and my opinion about presidential candidates with all of you on social media and through my website. Not to criticize but to inform and pray that we the voters, will place the right leaders in power.

Spirit of Unity on the Move

Spirit of Unity on the Move

I posted a blog several months back about a virtual dream I had. I was exchanging my car for a larger vehicle to hold all the new passengers that would be arriving. It seems there is a world wide movement through media of all kinds of people from nations, cultures, religions, sects to UNITE with one purpose. No longer content to be separated by previous forces and conditions, we are focused on bringing real peace,  honor,  respect and Divine love to all mankind. The Real Kingdom of God?

The Real Kingdom of God?

We have a long history of suffering people in nations ruled by power hungry men: most recently Russia, Germany, Japan, Korea, Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries. Are we in the world going to continue down that path? No, we are not!

I start most of my days in prayer for leaders in America and around the world. The arrival of the World Wide Web and social media has shifted my view on how best I can impact my world for good. It is my opinion that social media has arrived at just the right time as a tool to usher in benevolent governments and leaders who will truly rule the nations with peace and goodwill.

Sadhguru, Yogi and Mystic

I listened to an exhilarating YouTube video this week by Yogi Sadhguru. He began by speaking to the transforming power of meditation with these equally powerful words: “If America meditates, the whole world meditates.” As I read his words again, they still fill me with hope and pride. You see, he was saying the world follows America: what a responsibility and an opportunity at the same time.  The yogi went on to explain how America could bring the world together through an inclusive process as opposed to an exclusive one that divides by the concept of good and bad. As he explained further how we become one with life it became clear he was speaking of the nature of life on our planet as an inclusive process.  The trees exhale out oxygen which we inhale and then...
